Sunday 25th January is Robert Burns’ birthday, so what better way to spend the weekend by dusting off your kilt and indulging in some of Scotland’s finest exports.
Young’s pubs are holding two events at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich and The Duke’s Head in Putney on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th January. On the menu are Scottish delicacies such as haggis, neeps and tatties, and deep fried Mars bars washed down with whisky tastings and craft beers. There will also be entertainment in the form of traditional bagpipers and readings of Burns’ best-loved poetry .
